Advertising and the Melbourne International Convention

they keep confirming that religion is big business.the melbourne international convention is this weekend and i wish all the best to the activists who will be present.i came across this website set up for jws in attendence with comprehensive guides and information.

it's obvious that it has been created by the jws since they write this under the rooming tab.

we are all now free to book accommodation using the recommended lodging list (rll) which is provided on the rooming website!.

just wondering if anybody from nz can tell me when the jws will take the stand in the nz commission into csa.

also, is it possible to get this streamed on the internet live, and is coverage only restricted to this country.

i’m surprised this hasn’t been mentioned more on the internet.

Can't see any reference to a Royal Commission into CSA. Perhaps this has been delayed by the Christchurch mosque shootings Royal Commission..

The Royal Commission running on the Abuse in Care is live-streamed, but the Christchurch shooting doesn't seem to be.

just one thing that is not quite right is that the article refers to joe bello as a narrogin elder.

the assualts took place while the victim was part of the narrogin congregation.

I know this was posted 4 years ago, but given the number of new members to the forum and that there has been no real change to the two-witness rule thought this might be worthy of a bump.

A string of gormless elders took the stand this week to face questions about the obscenity of their procedures. They were uniformly ineloquent and unhelpful. While professing to cherish modesty, there was no humility in any of the elders’ reluctance to accept responsibility. One Narrogin elder, Joe Bello, revealed the contemptuous aloofness that defines Jehovah’s Witnesses. Asked if he had been following the work of the royal commission, he replied: “No, I haven’t.”

Hi Love Uni .. Was fortunate to see Getting Away With It performed by Johnny Marr a few years ago. Also saw Peter Hook perform a couple of New Order albums in full with a few JD songs. Opened with Atmosphere if that means anything.
